NSIT Connect: An App for NSIT Students
NSIT Connect is an Android app developed by Swati Garg that is specifically designed for the students of Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology(NSIT). The app aims to enhance the mobile experience of the students by keeping them updated with the latest happenings in the college.
The app has various features that make it stand out. First, the News Feed keeps the students informed about important announcements, notices, results, and newsletters. Second, the My Feed feature offers a personalized feed with updates from the societies that the students follow. Third, the video gallery showcases cultural fests, society fests, and other events at NSIT. Fourth, the Calendar feature provides time-tables of all the branches categorized according to semesters and an attendance tracker. Finally, the Directory feature provides contact information for all faculty members categorized under different departments.
The app even includes a Locations feature that helps students navigate the campus of NSIT, including the main campus, hostels, canteens, and stationery shops. The app is free to use and open-source, and new features are currently being developed. Feedback and suggestions are welcome and can be provided through the app or by email.
